Hi, I'm Alrik Fallet!

I'm a Norwegian creative based in Japan, working across music, film, photography and design. I started out in music, but I've always enjoyed drifting between different creative disciplines. This creative restlessness used to feel like a curse, but over time it’s matured into something quite useful.

These days I might be composing music for a film one day, filming a traditional craft the next, or perhaps working on visual content for a small business. A lot of my work has been connected to people, places and stories in rural Japan, and I enjoy finding ways to capture what makes them interesting, whether that's through sound, images, film or design. I’ve found that my Scandinavian roots sit quite naturally alongside the Japanese culture and landscape I’ve come to know.

I like being involved from the early ideas through to the finished work, and I'm happiest when I can bring several of my skills together.
